We are delighted to annouce the 2014 Sharon Foundation award recepients, Bat-El from Ramat Gan and Ronen from Haifa.

This is the fifth year that we are able to provide wonderful young doctors with a small grant to help them in their research work. This year their journey will take them to Bruges, Belgium

Ronen completed his medical studies in 2002 receiving his degree with honors from the Israel Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He has a Sports Medicine diploma from the faculty of Medicine in Tel Aviv University, and currently works in his hometown of Haifa at the RAMBAM medical center.

Bat-El received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Bologna, Italy in 2004. She has been working at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon and the Rabin Medical Center in Petach Tikva. She has published two academic papers focused on Bronchial Asthma.

We are very proud to be able to support Bat-El and Ronen and send our heartfelt congratulations to them for so many achievements that they have already  accomplished in their medical careers.
