2017 Recipients

Dr. Yazeed M. Toukan is the recipient of our 2017 award. Born in I’bblin in the Lower Galilee, only a few kilometers away from Sharon’s birthplace in Kibbutz HaSolelim, Yazeed went on to excel in his medical studies at the renowned Technion University of Haifa.  It fills us with pleasure and honor to be able to support Yazeed in his continued pursuit of excellence in the fields of medical care and work. He will be presenting his latest research on the acute effects of a single use of waterpipe smoking on lung functions at this year’s CIPP conference in Lisbon. We wish Yazeed continued success and fulfillment on his exemplary journey, the embodiment of a role model to many, an inspiration to others.
