The Sharon Foundation was setup in 2007, one year after the passing away of our dear wife, daughter and sister, Sharon Knoll Wel Roth Bentlage.

Many friends and family members have since helped us in deeds and in kind, bringing us all together once a year to remember Sharon. With a litte bit of our funds and many wonderfully generous donations by so many of you who knew Sharon, a small foundation fund has come together.

With close guidance by Prof. Dr. Kerem, the Sharon Foundation fund is thus able to support young medical professoinals in their research and academic work.
